1.1 - You Can Own a Market

Most websites have been created first and then Search Engine Optimized (SEO) later.
SEO is the process of optimizing each page for selected keywords and phrases with the aim of ranking highly for them in a search engine.
With the long term strategy model we are using to create a website it will be possible to dominate an entire market and every keyword/phrase in it.
Each Keyword/phrase will be selected because is has:
- TRAFFIC: People are already typing it into search engines like Google
- MONEY: Businesses are already bidding on it via Gooogle Ads (Adwords)
- SIZE: The keyword is not broader than the parent page above it. Size is measured by the number of competing websites that are returned when typing into a search engine like Yahoo
- RELEVANCE: Each keyword will be measured against the keyword above it for its co-occurrence index (a way to measure the relationship between the meaning of two words according to a search engine)
- IMPORTANCE: Each keyword will be selected because it is an important sub-theme of the parent above it (discovered by measuring the most common elements, that other webpages ranking for the parent keyword are all talking about)
By combining these elements into the architecture of a website it is possible - over time - to dominate the market or niche you are targeting.
