1.5.1 - Audience

Who is your target audience and what are their characteristics.

First you need to identify a website that:

1. Ranks well for your main target Keyword/phrase at Google.com
   The Root URL ranks, not a webpage.
2. Has a similar theme and content compared to the vision for your site.
3. Has a profile at http://www.quantcast.com

Then do a QuantCast on the site to get stats on:

• Monthly Visits
• Gender
• Age
• Income
• Ethnicity
• Education
• Family

This will give you an idea of who your audience is and who you will be writing for.
